Our soft-landscaping team will design, source, and plant your garden ensure the right plant is selected for the right place.

Our designer can creating a planting plan or scheme to complement your new or existing design.

Firstly we carry out necessary soil tests to prepare the ground before commencing any installation work, then carry out soil preparation, spreading organic matter if required to give your plants the most suitable healthy environment to growth and to thrive.

Perennials, Grasses & Bulbs

There are hundreds of herbaceous perennials available. For every location and colour palette. Staples for a cottage garden like Astrantia, Geraniums Phlox or Lupins have a long flowering period and will put on a fantastic show in the border.

To swaths of Rudbeckia, Verbena bonairiensis, Echinace for contemporary and prairie style planting schemes. Planted in-between ornamental grasses which sway and dance in the border with their beautiful flower plumes and wide range of foliage colours.

It is also possible to create a succession of colour that will last for many months using bulbs. Starting with Snowdrops and Crocus in late winter or early spring, followed by daffodils then tulips. In early summer the purple or white pom poms of alliums start to appear. Late summer see the dahlias fill the gaps alongside gladiolus taking you through to autumn.

Shrubs, Trees & Hedging

Shrubs & trees are the backbone of a garden. The architecture upon which the that will add structure and interest throughout the year.

Hedging is a great alternative to fencing, as it often shows seasonal variation as well as providing shelter for wildlife. With many choices from formal evergreen to mix hedgerows.

Organic Compost & Bark Mulches

Bring life back into tired, heavy or light soils with our organic compost.

Our compost is a mix of chicken and horse manure with wheat straw. Not only is our mushroom compost an exceptional soil conditioner, it is very economical to use on a large scale.

It will improve the structure of heavy clay soils, add humus to thin sandy or chalky soils, enrich all soils and supply nutrients for the healthy growth of plants.

It can be used for mulching around shrubs and herbaceous perennials to feed plants, suppress weed growth reduce the loss of nutrients from the soil and minimise the work of weeding borders. On heavy clay soils to improve the condition or use in light sandy soils to give body and retain moisture. It will improve the condition of the soil, reducing heaviness and adding nutrients.

We can supply this in 70L bags and bulk loads.
